London Wedding: Marylebone town hall, red buses and soho charm

“It really was the best decision and investment we made. Hana made us feel comfortable and at ease from the very start and it felt like she was part of the family on the day.”

London weddings have a huge piece of my heart. I had the absolute pleasure of photographing a beautiful, intimate celebration that began at the iconic Marylebone Town Hall, featured a classic red Routemaster bus, and concluded with a chic reception at The Ivy in Soho. With the buzz of Rose and Rob’s family, this is one wedding I will never forgot.

Each ceremony room at Marylebone lends unique character and charm. The weather was stunning and the room bursting with light. I look forward to every ceremony as they each offer such a variety of surprises. Rose’s brother played his guitar and sang to the room, captivating everyone with his soulful voice.

What better way to travel through London than on a classic red Routemaster bus? As the couple and their guests boarded, there was a sense of celebration in the air. The little ones handing out crisps to everyone whilst the older ones passed down glasses of champagne to celebrate Rose and Rob. We had a karaoke blasting out of the bus, whilst passer by waved up to us as we cruised the streets of London.

The celebrations continued at The Ivy Soho Brasserie, an effortlessly chic spot in the heart of Soho. Known for its elegant interiors and fantastic atmosphere, The Ivy provided the perfect backdrop for the couple’s reception.

We stepped back out into the streets of Soho for a final set of portraits before the couple and guests sat down for their gorgeous meal. The hum of the streets, and the couple’s radiant smiles made for an unforgettable ending to a truly magical day.
