A self-obsessed photographer and film maker with a wildly passionate love for modern story-telling and memory making ‘in the moment’ frames.
From an early age, I was captivated by cameras, inspired by my grandparents and dad, who were both photographers. This family tradition felt like a natural calling; I grew up with a camera around my neck, unknowingly documenting beautiful moments with friends. What began as a simple hobby soon evolved into a profound passion.
My childhood home is filled with family photo albums and walls adorned with snapshots of adventures, group gatherings, and cherished moments of my siblings growing up. I spent countless hours watching our old VHS tapes—those raw glimpses of family life evoke an indescribable nostalgia, which I strive to recreate when capturing your special day.
I've been a photographer for over 12 years, and it feels like just yesterday when I captured my first wedding and those heartfelt wedding moments and family portraits. It's a true honour to capture these genuine moments and create lasting memories for my clients.
I’m a 30 something, living my countryside dreams in Somerset with my partner, Callum, and our nearly 12-year-old Cocker Spaniel, Poppy. As a passionate and creative Bristolian, I’m always dreaming about my next camera purchase (sorry, Callum!), adding a new Cocker Spaniel puppy to our family, and, one day, finding the perfect cottage farmhouse to call home.
If you ask any of my friends, they'll tell you I'm a true foodie at heart. If you want to win me over, good food is the way to my soul! I absolutely love exploring food markets and can never resist picking up some fresh sourdough and local cheese. In fact, my dream wedding would definitely feature a lineup of amazing street food trucks!
Over the years, I've collected a fair number of film cameras, filling my shelves with these treasures and the moments they’ve captured. The joy I experience when developing film that’s been waiting in my camera is truly incredible—it's the same feeling I know my couples experience when they receive their gallery.
WHY PHOTOGRAPHY?
As a wedding photographer of 12 years, I have experienced a gorgeous range of weddings that have allowed me to capture the most vulnerable and happiest moments. Each wedding has allowed me to experience a creative style that forms a beautifully documented storybook of my couples day. I capture frames that make you feel like you are right back there again. Capturing the new connections between two families, laughter of little children. The pure joy of your friends as they raise their drink and celebrate with you. The immersive memories you want to feel all over again when you see your photos.
I allow the day to flow as it naturally should, which means I won’t interrupt or change moments as they are happening. I work in a way where I blend into the couple’s party and act like a guest so they hardly see me. This gives me the chance to capture the moments in the corner of your eye, or off to the side that wouldn’t be captured if it was staged.
Whilst leading up to the couple’s wedding day I keep in touch to understand the logistics of the day and what they might need from me, so when it comes to the day of celebrations I am ready and equipped with the information I need to start creating their story.
I allow my couples to feel comfortable and ready for moments where I take them off for portraits. I want my couples to feel like they can ease into these moments without the pressures of a schedule or timings. I want you to feel present on your wedding and feel the joy and happiness surrounding you.
MY STYLE
My style is relaxed, natural and un-obtrusive. I observe the room finding pockets of conversations and connections. By taking a step back, I can spot people meeting for the first time, children laughing and running around carefree and grandparents looking at their grandchild in their beautiful wedding dress with such a loving gaze. I capture the moving moments of the swishing dresses, hugs of your nearest and dearest, and the outrageous dance floor moves!
My editing style is warm and rich. I authenticate similar colour to a 35mm film, so you feel a sense of timeless colour and style. I play with natural light and dark shadows to portray the feeling of the day as it moves through your images.
I want my couples to interact with each other no different to if I wasn’t in the room. To allow them to feel themselves, be giddy and giggly and experiencing a new level of love and appreciation for each other.
Whilst your wedding photos are so important, spending time with your loved ones is the top priority. I ask all my couples to let me know how much time they would like to spend having their portraits taken during cocktail hour. The day goes by so quickly, so spend it wisely and I’ll focus on capturing all the gorgeous moments that piece your wedding day together.

Hana is amazing. Her style is beautiful and captures energy of a moment perfectly. We had her to do our wedding photography. She was super flexible, listened to exactly how we wanted our day to be and made it happen. For people who are usually awkward in photos she got some great, relaxed looking photos. I have also had multiple people specifically tell me how nice she was. Which is really lovely to hear. The photography wasn’t intrusive and her personality really added to the day. Thanks Hana, you’re a star.

Hana recently shot our intimate London wedding and the photos are everything and more! We are so happy with them and feel she captured all the special and main moments but also all the natural bits in between. We are so glad we chose Hana as our photographer, it really was the best decision and investment we made. Hana made us feel comfortable and at ease from the very start and it felt like she was part of the family on the day. We would highly recommend Hana to anyone and everyone. She is SO good at what she does and we are beyond pleased with the photos and the whole experience Hana provides. Thank you for capturing the best day of our lives!
